From Pain to Joy!

In many parts of Asia, poverty and sickness are significant issues that affect the lives of countless people.  Unfortunately, medical care is limited for those who struggle with these challenges, leaving them to suffer and endure their pain without any relief. This was the situation we encountered while ministering in a church within the slums of Asia.

We’ll never forget what happened to one older woman who had been burdened with severe foot and leg pain. The lack of medical resources had forced her to bear the affliction for many years.  But what happened next is absolutely incredible! After the service ended, the lady started walking toward us with the biggest smile ever. Overflowing with joy and excitement, she shared that her chronic pain had vanished. She couldn’t believe that the pain she had been living with all those years was finally gone. Her face was beaming because her response to receiving a miracle from Jesus was so joyous that she couldn’t stop smiling.

This woman’s remarkable testimony from pain to joy is not just another story—it’s a reminder that miracles still happen today. It’s a testament to the healing power of Jesus. He is still a Healer, a Deliverer, and a Miracle Worker, and He hasn’t forgotten about you! No matter the length or intensity of your struggle, Jesus is greater than any sickness or problem; this lady’s story is a powerful illustration of that. So, hold on to the promise that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” Hebrews 13:8 (NLT)
