Created To Impact
“You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.” -Psalm 139:16 (NLT)
You are a world changer. An authorized history maker! God strategically reserved you for such a time as this. There’s a script written just for you, a book of destiny straight from God’s heart, all figured out ahead of time and personally authorized by Him (Psalm 139:16). Every detail is crucial, and He doesn’t make mistakes or create one person better than another. You’re purposefully designed with unique abilities no one else has, and He wants you to recognize and see what He sees. He wants you to become confident to step out and use what He has given you, even down to the smallest part of your capabilities. God doesn’t want us to be like the servant who dug a hole and buried his master’s money. God wants our gifts and talents to be developed and used to benefit the kingdom (Matthew 25).
You’ve been filled with extraordinary potential. And now, God wants your availability to do incredible things. You were sent to make a difference, serve God, impact a lost generation, and bring immense value to hurting people (Ephesians 4:16). You’re a key to unlocking the future. God also gave you His authority and the power to fulfill your mission even though that may seem impossible (Matthew 16:19). He gave you dominion over the earth (Genesis 1:26). This is the basis of your purpose. You’ve been commissioned and equipped to make this world look like heaven.
Can you imagine what it would look like if you started walking in your full potential? You just might become unrecognizable. Take the Samaritan woman at the well who suddenly went from being shunned and purposeless to being an evangelist of the gospel to her entire town (John 4). You are no different. So, if you’ve been trying to figure out what you’re supposed to do, ask God. He’s not trying to hide what He created you to do.
I used to carry a big-gigantic question mark over my head for years, not knowing what to do. I got lost in the shuffle, pulled in every direction, and wandered aimlessly until I discovered that my purpose was related to the desires, talents, and strengths that the Lord had placed within me.
Similarly, whatever you love doing most and find great fulfillment in will usually align with your purpose. Now is the time to find out. Don’t settle for less. Come forth and take the territory God has entrusted you with.
