“Everything is possible for him who believes.”  -Mark 9:23 (ESV)

Have you ever traveled abroad? The first time I flew to the Philippines, my leader kept reminding me to exchange my money for foreign currency before entering the country. But I forgot to do that, so I felt lost in a foreign land. I couldn’t access the basic necessities like making a phone call or buying food to eat when hungry. It’s the same way with the kingdom of God. Faith is heaven’s currency. It’s the greatest currency in the world, and it’s freely available. If we want to access kingdom resources, it requires faith, not intellect, talent, theology, or striving. For “faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Faith gives us eyes to see what has not manifested yet.

Wherever there’s faith, there’s laser focus and no confusion. Faith knows how to grab hold of God’s Word and pull it into the natural realm. God’s promises are not automatically made manifest just because we go to church, read the Bible, or attend small groups. They only manifest when we are fully convinced of what God says.

Kieu is one of the faithful women I disciple. She is an excellent example of someone who has crazy faith with a laser focus. I met her and mentored her for six years when I was still a missionary in Malaysia. Her husband was the leader of a violent gang and a drug dealer. Her life was miserable, living under the same roof as her husband. He abused her, making her serve his customers while they were high. But she believed that God was able to save and transform her husband. Therefore, she focused on what God said and prayed day and night for seven years without wavering. She stood firm, and her persistence paid off. Today, her husband is a new man in Christ with a new job and a passionate love for his family. How desperate are you for a miracle and breakthrough? We need to be on our knees until our jeans become holey.

Crazy faith will bring crazy results. My spiritual grandfather prayed for a 70-year-old lady who had been paralyzed and bedridden for seven years. The doctor couldn’t do anything for her. However, Doctor Jesus said “Yes” to his faith. Not only did Jesus heal her, but the whole village was turned upside down as they joyfully accepted the Lord Jesus. To receive healing, we must believe God is a Healer. To receive deliverance, we must believe He is a Deliverer. Everything we receive from God requires faith.

So, to experience kingdom benefits, we need to exchange our worldly currency for Heaven’s currency. Many of us don’t know how to use “faith” currency because we are used to living our lives by what we can see, hear, and touch. However, faith doesn’t work that way. God wants us to trust Him completely. He wants us to believe that impossible situations can turn into possible ones. Faith is the path to endless possibilities. Faith will help you travel to your destiny as you enjoy the benefits of Heaven’s realm.
