From Ordinary to Extraordinary!
“Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will weigh over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” Genesis 1:26
Do you know that you are incredible? Yes, you are, for you are created in God’s image! Being created in God’s image isn’t about your physical appearance but the very reflection of God’s character and extraordinary nature. You are His image bearer. In other words, God’s potential, wisdom, and creativity are inside you. YOU have the DNA of God; you come from the bloodline of champions. Therefore, when God sees you, He sees you as a victor and a warrior.
This truth has transformed my life but also makes me tremble because I can’t comprehend or grasp all of it. It seems like a wealth of treasure wrapped up inside this body. No wonder Jesus said in John 14:12, I can do greater things than He did, if I only believe. No wonder deep inside of me, I always wanted to do something bigger than myself, but, in the natural, I didn’t have the ability or means to be different since I was born into poverty. However, because I know who I am in Christ, it has helped me to think and go beyond the natural. As a child of God, deeply embedded within you, is superior- super-duper power that we need to use. You may not see yourself that way, but that doesn’t change anything. The truth is you came from God. He alone has the right to tell you who you are.
Don’t Let Your Weaknesses Define You
I know a man named Gideon who also didn’t see himself as valuable or strong (Judges 6:12-13). He felt weak, poor, and insignificant. But God saw him as a courageous warrior who could lead and save His people. So, you are, my friend. Don’t let your weakness and insecurity keep you from seeing the real you, knowing that your present condition doesn’t determine your future. You will have a brilliant future, for you are His masterpiece. He is still shaping you into His image. Believe that His potential is hidden in you and needs to be cultivated and awakened. Trust God and surrender yourself to Him, then you will experience the realm of extraordinary.
Thus, it doesn’t matter what the present looks like; you must believe God’s character and nature flow in your veins. Your present condition doesn’t determine your future, so stand up to claim your birthright. You came from God, and the one who made you is the only one with the right to tell you who you are. The opinions of man do not define you!
